This beautiful stand-alone castle-like property is a fantastic mix of old and new, classic and rustic. El Castillo boasts 360 degree views including those of the mountains and Natural Park, as well as great sea views which on clear days, can even offer views of Morocco, North Africa. The villa is located at the highest point of the hill on which it is situated and is reached via a concrete track which stems off from a tarmac country road. With private parking for approximately 3 cars, you enter through private large iron gates, up a paved drive. Up a set of steps you then approach the front of the villa, and see the first of the amazing views. The swimming pool is located at the front of the property surrounded by a terracotta paved out-side area with six sun beds and a large outside dining table for up to 6 people. On the left of the property you will find the large open, built-in BBQ area located in front of the covered porch which supplies much appreciated shade during the hottest parts of the day. If you walk around the property you will find another private seating area with four iron chairs and a table, which has been built to stand away from the edge of the hill offering second-to-none views of the mountains, great for an evening drink and watching the sun set
Open plan dining room, very spacious, light and airy, large dining table with six chairs, large wooden cabinet with grand mirror and over hanging table light. An unusual open fire place / chimney with a tiles bench and chairs, divides the lounge and the dining room and whilst it is unlikely to be used during the summer month, it is a cosy place to gather round during the winter.
